Camp de prisonniers, établi en Allemagne ou dans les pays occupés pendant la deuxième guerre mondiale, dans lequel étaient internés les officiers des armées alliées. Les oflags aussi ont été ces vases clos où l'homme ne trouve plus que lui-même à qui se confronter. Mais ils étaient peuplés d'intellectuels, d'hommes d'affaires, de chefs d'entreprise, à qui l'habitude de la spéculation philosophique ou technique fournissait des ressources presque inépuisables (AMBRIÈRE, Gdes vac., 1946, p.308). L'Amicale de l'Oflag 17 organise, ce soir, au Cercle militaire, un bal de nuit au profit de ses oeuvres sociales (Le Figaro, 19-20 janv. 1952, p.7, col. 2).
